Current new features in this release:

  • Improved Single Sign-On (SSO) User Creation

  • Enhanced Export for DATEV "Buchungsdatenservice"

  • Improved User Management

Improved Single Sign-On (SSO) User Creation

Single Sign-On (SSO) has been improved and made more transparent.

SSO not only allows logging in but also creating a new Finmatics user via an existing Microsoft 365 account, for example.

When you log in for the first time using SSO, your user account will be set up for you in the background with all predefined and necessary permissions. This setup is now displayed even better in our system.

This screen will be displayed to you while the setups are being performed in the background:

In this Help Center article, you can read about login security using SSO.

Here you will find additional information on what you need to use SSO with Finmatics.

Enhanced Export for DATEV "Buchungsdatenservice"

We have expanded and optimized the export process for DATEV's “Buchungsdatenservice”

Documents are now grouped by period and then exported to DATEV. This enables easier processing of the documents for you.

In this screenshot, you can see the extension:

You can find more information about exporting invoices to DATEV here: DATEV - Wie exportiere ich Belegzeilen von Finmatics

Improved User Management

We have enhanced and made user management more transparent.

Now, when assigning companies, clients, or document types to a user, these changes are marked until they are saved. Additionally, you can now search among the assigned firms, clients, and document types to manage your users more quickly and efficiently.

In this screenshot, you can see that unsaved changes are marked with a floppy disk icon, as shown on the right side of the screenshot.

You can find more information on how to administer your users here: Administer your Users
